RB TreVeyon Henderson (Official Thread)

Talent wise, yes. But he should’ve been the best RB on the field the past few weeks and hasn’t been.
Uh, what? MSU had 66 yards on 21 carries...total. Henderson had 63 yards, but only had nine carries. Now, Teague had 95 yards rushing but did so on 21 carries. So Henderson was clearly the best RB on the field. As for the previous game against Purdue, the Boilermakers had 91 yards rushing on 19 carries...Henderson had 98 yards on 13 carries. Williams had 14 carries for 117 yards, but he did so in relief of Henderson.

He's a freshman on a team scoring 50+ points per game almost. He's both on a pitch count and when he's not needed because the game is safely in hand, he isn't going to be out there.

Henderson talent wise is better than all of the RBs on our roster and each of the RBs we’ve played(outside of Walker). And I understand what the stats say, and I also know what we’ve all seen at times from Henderson’s play this year. And not being able to find the big play has hurt him, but thankfully the pass game is so good it doesn’t really matter. I’m fine with the pitch count, but he’s also much better than what his stats are saying and Day has given up on running him early. Like was stated,he’s only had 9 and 13 Carries the last 2 games, that’s not exactly a lot. He’s still a frosh I know, but he could easily have 1200yds.

First world problems

I'll take our 3-headed Xonster at RB coXing into this gaXe, all relatively fresh, over any of their guys. I love how people view this teaX as a passing team bc of the talent they have in their WR room, but their running gaXe is solid too. How Xany gaXes do you think they could have run for 300 if they hadn't benched everyone and gone full out vanilla offense on teaXs in the 2nd half? I think this teaX is totally capable of running for 250 on Xichigan if they decide to drop in coverage to protect against the pass and don't take care of the run 1st.

I think Michigan would give us 250 on the ground over the alternative of 250 for Olave, Wilson, and JSN each. It should still result in a loss....just a 38-24 loss instead of 59-13.
