RB TreVeyon Henderson (Official Thread)

I would advise him to go. Even a fucking tank like Zeke is going to have a short career.

If he stays, he is instantly my favorite buckeye heading into next year.

If he got a late round grade and teams are skittish based on his inability to stay healthy for a full season, it’s reasonable and even likely that he could earn more money next year at OSU than in the NFL.

I could see why he would come back. A fully healthy year could easily put him late round 1.

Yeah but it's a weak RB class and he showed when healthy he's a rare gamebreaker at the position, pass catching ability, etc. After seeing Achane this year I have no doubts Tre could be a beast at the next level and even better.

Pleaseeee be true...would be such a huge help to a new QB and the offense in general.
will agree to disagree... with him its a home run or we're behind schedule on O... Love the guy but RBs are never gonna be a top of the draft position anymore ... go get paid, get some flexibility by working with other S&C coaches

When he is healthy, I think he is more than that and really started to show it towards the end of the season. Plus the OL pretty much all returns and their run blocking was getting better to the point where I think Tre could be the focal point of our offense next season. Hayden and Chip are plenty good enough to lighten the load for him when needed, Peoples as well imo.

But if we are simply looking at what should Tre do, it is probably best to not risk it and go pro...he is looking at late 2nd round at best, likely 3rd or 4th round but that is how it goes at the RB position mostly as you said. He could foreseeably have a huge final campaign and contend for a Heisman that gets him up to late 1st round instead, but balancing that against another injury is a tough question. Even if he comes back I would say he should opt out of the bowl game to not risk injury for next season.
