RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Washington Commanders)

The entire season was simply a setup for Samuel to get lots of touches in THE GAME. On downs when everyone in the stadium, including those standing at the concession stands and those in the restroom, knows that JT is going to run the ball, tOSU can break trend and let Samuel get a touch.

A lot of misconception with Samuel is that he doesn't get the ball because of coaching decision, which isn't true. The Meyer offense runs s heavy dose of option plays. This means JT is really in control of whether or not he keeps it or pitches it out to Samuel. Teams are well aware of Urbans love affair with the option so often JT has to keep it and cut up field early and inside the tackle.

While I agree there needs to be more designed run attacks focusing on Samuel, the box score will always favor a QB with our offense.

Samuel is sure to draw a crowd wherever he's at so we'll see how Meyer deploys him/moves his chess piece around.
We did see that a lot. There was a great play where samuel came in motion and weber went out as a lead blocker off tackle for him, the entire line went that direction and you could see all of the state backers and safeties went that way. Then barrett was 10 yards downfield with the ball before anyone realized it. Probably my favorite play of the game.

Gotta think that Curtis is going to have a significant role in the game plan this Saturday. Looking for a very physical game from our OL. TTUN will load the box and hopefully JT can hit Samuel and/or DeSoto in stride on some quick slants. I like their chances in a foot race.
