    Did you notice the whole article in their student newspaper that tells the students not to bother running on to the field when NC State wins because we might end up 8-5 and it won't be that big a deal for them to win. (Evidently we'll get beat so bad once this year it will count as two losses)

    Hadn't read that one until you pointed it out ("While the win will surely pull the Pack into the top-25 nationally..."). So if I understand correctly, perrennial conference title and national title contender Ohio St. is looking for a boost to its program by beating NC St., a team that may have never won their historically weak conference (at least not since N. Carolina was in rebellion against the Union), but for whom this paint-the-endzones win will not be that big a deal. Gotta love student newspapers.
