Reds tidbits (2010 season)

ManRam officially on the waiver wire today. Would the Reds be a suitor for him? I dont know. The upside could be awesome but he's not 100% I dont think. That bat and protection in the lineup down the stretch might be fantastic but is it worth it.

No. Never thought I'd say this, but I'd rather lose with Gomes than win with Manny. He's not worth the headache.

If he makes it to the Reds they should just claim him to block any other team. Offer the Dodgers some BP baseballs, some used jockstraps, and demand some cash. If they let the Reds have him without a trade, sure, he'll cost a few million but you get him without giving up a prospect.

He is not going to kill team chemistry in one month, similar to Gomes in the field and a much better hitter.

Of course I think Walt doesn't like him, so it won't really matter.
