Reds Tidbits (2013 Season)

Pre Season Prediction time

So how and when do they fuck us this year?

How
A) Dusty
B) Multiple season/career ending visits to Doc K
C) Vottos leg comes off
D) Long Duck Dong is a bust
E) Phillips goes full frontal Willie Mays Hays all year rendering him Gookie Dawkins.
F) Frazier fields 3B like EE and hits like Scott Rolen.......last year.
G) The left side of the field as a whole sucks an extraordinary amount of ass for the better part of a full season.

When

  1. Early season collapse they never recover from
  2. Mid Season collapse they never recover from
  3. Late season choke job
  4. Post Season Epic choke job v2.0

Pick one from each list, gird your loins, sit back and watch the hilarity ensue. We board the failboat day after tomorrow. I'll be in front of the tv ready to go......

Throughout the duration of the off season the club has done its best to make this team "Dusty-proof." They traded Drew Stubbs, refused to resign Cairo/Valdez, acquired a high OBP CF to, obviously, bat leadoff and have now acquiesced to Dusty's demands by re-inserting Chapman in the closers role.

Somehow, this will not be enough. I vote A1.

Looks pretty good to me. I'm glad we chose to keep Hoover, since he was dominant this spring. The only minor quibble I have is keeping Parra over Arredondo. Arredondo has better numbers against LHB, which I presume is the reason for sending Parra north with the Reds. I still think Parra will be effective granted he is only used as a LOOGY. Plus, I think Arredondo cleared waivers, so we'll have him in Louisville should Parra falter.
