Reds Tidbits (2013 Season)

WB's score 2 in the first so that game is over.

Detroit has left 9 on through 7 so you know the Pirates are going to find a way to win that one.

Meanwhile our fucktwits just lay down like prison bitches and let the goddamn Indians score 7 runs with 2 outs in an inning.

I hate this fucking team.

Dude, Royals could not hit water if they fell out of a boat right now. Believe me, it is rough living here in KC not only watching dreadful baseball but watching the Cards get some separation from our Reds in the process.

Best thing I can tell you is hope the Reds can take the Pirates series and hope that the Giants put up a better fight against the Cards than the Royals did this week.

I feel your pain though. The Red Legs haven't been playing bad ball but they continue to lose ground in the standings to the Cards and now the Pirates too.

Brandon Phillips' play after the ball hit the bag was freaking ridiculous. The Reds looked like shit in Cleveland but Phillips was still worth watching.

Joe Morgan hit 152 home runs and Phillips has 150. Joe Morgan had 612 RBI and Phillips has 605. Brandon Phillips has 221 doubles and Morgan had 220. Brandon Phillips has 1,214 hits and Morgan had 1,155.

It doesn't even matter. Reds pitched a shutout last night and lost a half game in the standings. The Cardinals will never lose again.

Even if the Cards suffer two more losses to their starting rotation I'm sure they'll just dig down into their AA affiliate and call up Cy Young and Walter Johnson.
