A dyin' breed.
Someone had a picture of a shirt that said "Revenge" and "09.09.06" on it.

Is there a place you can buy these? I did a search and looked through a couple of threads, but didn't find it. Help me out! Thanks! =]

Let's forget the t-shirts, because last year we talked all the shit possible, and wanted the shirts and talked about how we were going to stomp on Texas, and they ended up beating us. Let's just let the game be played, and all celebrations should take after September 9th, 2006.

Hallelujah! I've been saying and thinking this for a whole year. Same goes for Penn State.

I remember the flyers that Thomas Mathews saw in Miami while there for Christmas break in 2002--advertising a "Miami Victory Party" on January 4th, 2003. It fired our guys up.

I hope that the team keeps its mouth shut and its eye on the prize.
In fact, I'd like to see this attitude for every game. September 9th? Fair enough, but January 9th would be even better. They can say anything they please then!

One of my favorite differences between the Cooper era and the Tressel era. It's pretty rare when our players toss out bulletin board material. They more often than not let their play do the talking....this is also a reason I am less and less of a Michigan State fan each year. How can you consistently fall apart year after year and continue to talk so much shit before games and act like douchebags during them?

You guys make me laugh. So what if we wear "Revenge 09.09.06" T-shirts? Big deal. First, there's a big difference between before the game last year and before the game this year, and that is that last year's game has now been played. Prior to Sep 10, 2005 we had never met, but now we have. So, it's totally different wearing revenge shirts this year than it was wearing any type of smack shirt before last year's game.

There's also a big difference between wearing "Revenge" shirts (because now we've already lost to them) and the party invites that the scUM South punks were handing out before the 2003 Fiesta Bowl. The scUM South clowns were arrogantly predicting victory whilst our wearing "Revenge" shirts simply display our desire to square the series.

I see zero problems with those shirts. You don't Texas fans would be wearing similar shirts had we won last year?

Agreed. This is a great post. I want to be there handing out these t-shirts to every OSU fan walking through the gates. I want to Red-Out the horns just like every other bowl game or big game we come to. It isnt arrogant, its pride. I DO WANT REVENGE, i will say it all day long. If you are scared to talk a little smack prior to the game, you are thinking it cuz we might lose. I HAVE ALL THE FAITH WE WILL BACK IT UP THIS YEAR!

You can wear a revenge t-shirt and a revenge cap for all I care. Using the phrase RED-OUT the horns, when all you will see is a Tidal-Wave of Burnt Orange at DKR Memorial, yes sir that statement does sound SCOTCH induced. Red-out the shoe sure, Red-out YOUR side of the stadium at a bowl game, sure, Red-out DKR memorial, cheap scotch.....

Hey now, may not be the most possible idea, but its what i am going for. I come now, have you seen the fiesta bowl games against UofM, KSU, and ND. It was 80% scarlet. I know that isnt going to happen in TX, but there will still be a sea of red larger then most programs can bring to your place.

Revenge has always been the weaker position. An empty concept if you win; an uncomfortable cactus up your anal sphincter if you lose.

No harm is thinking revenge...even natural in this game, but to say it or, ha, ha, print it on a shirt to wear is...very non-Tressel.

What was that movie: "Revenge of the Nerds" or some such?
