Yeah, Miami sure has been awesome since they left the Big East. And BC has just been studly.

Record against ranked teams since Miami, VT, BC left the Big East

2007: 4-1 (Loss @ USF, Win @ Rutgers, @ Cincinnati, vs. Oklahoma(still all his players)
2006: 1-1 (Loss @ Louisville, Win vs. Rutgers)
2005: 2-1 (Loss vs. Virginia Tech, Win vs. Louisville, Win vs. Georgia)

7-3 That's bad right?3-0 in bowl games in that time, including wins over #10 UGA in basically a road game and a #4 Oklahoma game which he didn't coach but recruited all of the players that were on the team. 6-3 if you don't count the OU game.
It is just laughable that this game is brought up so damn often in his defense. He did not coach that game. Those players were fired up after their coach bailed on them. Also, have you looked at OU's bowl history lately?

INo, it's not. Fortunately, he's a pretty good coach. :)
You should really withhold judgement there until all the facts are in.

One game down and still an ass.

Hey! Can someone help me out?

I'm trying to find information on Rich Rod, specifically what his all time won loss record is as Michigan's head coach.

I know that he lost today but what exactly does that bring his all time record to as head coach of Michigan?

Not interested in his record with West Virginia or prior to that, only his record as Michigan's head coach.

Are there any Michigan fans that frequent this website that can answer this absolute stumper of a question?

Thank you in advance!

Go Bucks!!!!!!!

His press confrence revealed it all.. (i can't remember if I made this post this morning or not) .. he is in over his head.

I don't know if he is in over his head yet. He did look like he a little to dejected for a coach that should be getting a free pass all year. He is trying to install his system with people playing out of place. Michigan is not expected to win them all this year. He should take it like a man and move on.

He did not look like a good leader of men. He was looking down when replying to questions. He did not show any confidence that I would want to follow him into the next battle. He might have to get use to handling pressers like that because he could be 1 and 4 in the next few weeks.

Many of their fans may be saying they're willing to wait, but I guarantee you, if they lose to n_tre _ame and are sitting in the vicinity of 2-4 or 3-5, the natives will begin getting restless. There's a lot of people already questioning his gameplan and playcalling yesterday.

He made his bed and he has to lay in it. Rebuilding or not, it is still m*ch*g*n and there is enough talent to win there, he just needs to properly utilize it...which he didn't yesterday by a longshot.

He's in waaay over his head.

Major difference between the job he has now and his previous stops at West Virginia, Clemson, and Tulane: Nobody gave a shit if there were growing pains at West Virginia, Clemson, and Tulane.

If you caught any of his act at WVU, you have seen this episode already. I remember commenting last year on how incredibly uptight he seemed during some games and how tight his team played. Forget USF or Pitt, he tried to shit his pants and lose to UC but they just weren't good enough to take it. IIRC that was a game in which he was openly crying on the sidelines down the stretch in frustration.

That was USF. God I wish somebody had a screenshot of that. :slappy:

My GF actually asked "Is that coach crying?".
