Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

Put simply, the WVU Athletic Department and the remaining authority figures surrounding the football program should have taken much better care of their own backyard during their erstwhile Head Coach's departure. It is unfathomable to me that Pastilong did not assert the right of the institution and his Department to preserve any and all records pertaining to the Football Program.

Would the WVU athletic department have something in the records they want to hide? Something that could incriminate the program and the AD?

Turn that around - how do they now prove that there was no wrong-doing if such an accusation is raised peripheral to the suit brought by WVU against Wadriguez?

Also, should the NCAA come in on a matter within the next year or so in Morgantown, doesn't this leave them high and dry - unable to convicingly demonstrate the truth of any assertion they might make to their benefit. Unable, if you will, to demonstrate institutional control of the most basic nature - the preservation of records.

While Rodriguez does not strike me as a particularly likable gent, neither does he strike me as a particularly stupid one. I can't believe he would be daft enough to do this.

Who is going to bring that accusation? Dick Rod?
Nope, not speaking of an accusation brought within the action of the suit - rather something peripheral to the suit. Thus, candidate one might be the more vocal of the Wadriguez fanboy boosters.

And as I alluded earlier - if a totally seperate issue arises in the future, where does WVU now stand? Whoops NCAA, that dog Dick Wad ate our homework?

Hearing this is just causing all kinds of thoughts in my head for the futrure of "that" program. I hope Dick Wad crashes and burns, never beating his rival and get exposed for the dumbshit that he really is!!!

Losing to his rival is fine, but I hope that he doesn't do to Michigan what he's done to WVU. He has left at least the impression of taint on the Mountaineer program. Any taint on Michigan is taint on The Game. No thanks.

rr has done it again. He epitomizes everything that is good about Michigan (note attempt at sarcasm font)

I almost feel sorry for TSUN, filing lawsuits over his contract with WVU I can almost understand, but his handling of his former players and the WVU recruits and now this shredding scandal. I would think Bo is spinning and LLLLLLLLLLoyd is having apoplexy.

While I feign hatred for all things scUM, it is tempered with a healthy amount of respect for how they do (or did) things, this bozo threatens to change their greatly respected program to something much much less. Hopefully some of the class and integrity of others at TSUN rub off on rr, before he damages our great rivalry.

Well that taint right...

Coach Rodriguez, presumably upon the advice of counsel, is under the impression that a settlement will occur before a trial takes place. Some cases aren't worth settling, and it would not surprise me to see WVU carry this one out in court.

man... this guy is so shady, he make the zooker look like, umm, well... nevermind. sleazy characters like these are going to turn our conference into the wig ten. :shake:

i give this guy three years, max, at tsun. i don't visit scUM boards, but i'd be very suspicious if all these red flags aren't causing some concern among the maze-and-blew faithful.

JT and crew will have their way with RR for the next couple of years, but, sadly, i think they'll be beating a disease-ridden horse. all i can say is, excercise extreme caution, wear protective equipment, and take some hazmat training. it's a good thing, in hindsight, that the washtenwa county hazmat response team is the best in the state:

eWashtenaw: Washtenaw County HazMat Team Wins First Place

Washtenaw County HazMat Team Wins First Place

October 25, 2006

ANN ARBOR, MI ? The Washtenaw County Hazardous Materials Response Team won first place in the annual statewide ?HazMat Team Challenge? conducted during Michigan?s Emergency Management Summit held outside of Traverse City on October 8, 2006.

Vic Chevrette, HazMat Team Director, said, ?After three years of participating in the Challenge, it feels great. We won second place two years in a row, and this year we put the icing on the cake. Spirits are high for all involved.?

cont'd...

i even thought a new logo might be appropriate...
