lets be honest here, we have done something similiar on a smaller scale and some point or another. ever bought a car or a new tv then looked back and thought to yourself "hey that costed way too much for this" ...

Actually, TSUN just did something similar on the same scale: They hired RR.

And they'll sit down at Thanksgiving dinner saying "hey that costed way too much for this".

lets be honest here, we have done something similiar on a smaller scale and some point or another. ever bought a car or a new tv then looked back and thought to yourself "hey that costed way too much for this" but RichRod tried doing the right thing before the start of last season by signing it just so it would be done with and in good faith that it would have been reduced at a later time.
If I had ever bought a car or TV and then realized I was a gigantic ass for paying too much, guess what I would do.........fucking deal with it. I wouldn't go back to the place that sold it to me and tell them I paid too much for it.....and I certainly wouldn't expect them to say "Hey, you're right.....here's your money back. Don't worry about it."

Spare the poor RR routine. It's funny how on 12/8/07 (less than 1 week before he started contract negotiations with Michigan) RR appears on Bray Cary's show "Decision Makers" and proclaims how everything is great at WVU, how things are progressing at WVU, how great the cooperation is at WVU, and on and on and on. Don't believe me? Start watching and listening to this interview from that 12/8/07 show - LINK. The facts are about to get in your way again in about 12 days when RR and his crew turn over the unredacted copies of the Michigan term sheet letters that will show the RR knew he had to overcome the buyout portion of his WVU contract before he accepted any deal with Michigan. So what happened between RR's public airwave declaration of love for WVU and the cooperation he received there on 12/8/07 and 12/13/07, the date that contract negotiations started with Michigan? A whole lot of lying is what happened - lying on RR's part. It's getting to the point that you know he is telling the truth when his lips aren't moving.

This is the perfect analogy.

Anybody ever get out of paying what they agreed? No matter how much it costeded.

Not that it really applies to RR, but, uh, you know you can actually do that, right? That's why they give you that little slip of paper that comes out of the register.

Ummmm...

So that analogy holds how exactly? Because WVU gave RR a receipt for the non-payment of the buy-out? So he could take the product (non-payment of the buy-out) back to the purveyor (WVU) with the receipt and get a refund, which in this case means that he would be back coaching at WVU (something neither party wants). Yeah, that makes sense. Perfect analogy.

The little slip of paper means I can keep the TV and the money? I'm the dumbest son of a bitch alive.

I'll be back in a bit....I'm going to go buy a shitload of stuff I can't afford, then use this magical slip of paper to get my money back and keep the stuff.

Just tell them that paper you signed when paying, the one which expressly states the terms of purchase, doesn't really apply, because the register guy promised to just get rid of the cost later if you didn't want it.

Maybe we're being to hard on HtoM...

After all, he did say "Not that this really applies to RR..." or something to that effect.

But then, one wonders why he brought it up at all. To make himself a target so that we forget how big a douchebag RR is?

There are a million homes in foreclosure for very similar reasons......
