I personally wasn't that surprised by Mack not being ranked higher, top 150 is still very high for a skill position kid in B1G country. Rivals is a tad biased to the South and we all know that. I was most surprised by the dropping of Antwuan Jackson and Malik Barrow. Barrow starts for a talent rich school and he'll play a marquee matchup weekly. Jackson has been dominant to me all summer.

Rivals...the home of "we need to see them in camp. Preferably OUR camp."

As evident in part by Barrow dropping from around #100 to out of the R250...yet the game report I read from the loss to American Heritage said he was the best player on the field. And there were 4 and 5-stars galore in that game.

No doubt. Best player on the field in a game between two national Top 100 teams (one basically an all-star team), and he drops out of their 250. Ok.

I didn't even catch that he was not ranked, I assumed he was in the top 100. That's an absolute robbery. The rankings were likely put together before that performance but even considering that, absolute insanity.

Hey, remember when Rivals bumped LaTwan Anderson up to the number one player in Ohio and a five star after it became apparent he wasn't going to Ohio State?

I'm sure all those "will #1 player spurn Buckeyes!?" headlines got a lot of hits.

Anyways, I'm just glad rivals is in the ranking game to accurately reflect the relative skills of players and not to drum up artificial drama for the sake of making money.
