Rondale Moore (WR Purdue Boilermakers)

Best player on the field as a true freshman. Performances like that are what make college football so fun to watch every year.
Looks like the powerhouse programs (very much including Ohio State) missed out on this kid. He reminds me a bit of Curtis Samuel (even wears #4):

Interesting to note: 2019 recruit Wandale Robinson also hails from Kentucky, is also 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, and also has insane high school stats and highlights. Let's hope that the Buckeyes don't make the same mistake twice due to the current emphasis on "big" receivers.

That was my thought. You can't take 'em all, but bummer we didn't pursue this one harder. I knew the name sounded familiar when I was watching last night and had to come back to this thread. Looks like he didn't have an "offer" from us. Great pickup for Purdue though.

I think hometown Louisville and Texas were the only big boy teams to go after him, but I'm sure neither could offer immediate PT. Hence why he ended up in West Lafeyette. I'm sure he would've had the same fate at OSU, as great as it is to see him in that 1st game, there's no way I see him seeing the field in at least 2-3yrs. Campbell has HB on lock this year, McCall will still be here next year, and if Moore were to be a Buckeye, he'd also have to fend off another dynamic HB in the same class in Jaelen Gill. I loved what Moore did on Thursday, but I'm glad the staff went another route, best of luck to him as a Boilermaker though.
