This anti-higher education hill you're dying on is a weird choice
Nothing, and I mean nothing could be further from the truth. If I was against higher education, would I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on my children receiving a post secondary education? No. However, they are all very well aware how the Heisman family defines success and how small a percentage that an advanced degree plays in that success.

No one on the planet is either qualified or unqualified for a position, simply because they chose to forego the song and dance of getting a PhD. They are meaningless in a vacuum.

Well, of course. Becoming an Admiral actually requires merit, experience, and professional growth. You can get a PhD without ever leaving your parent’s basement.

Also, getting a Ph.D. doesn't require US Senate approval, getting a "flag officer" appointment does. (Technically he was just a Vice Admiral (i.e. 3 Stars or an O-9), the rank of Admiral is 4 Stars or an O-10).....:biggrin2:

However, the key qualification that makes him a great selection is that he has born on November 4th..........:boogie:
