You think that even with the positive visit to Miami and his moms strong preference to stay close to home?

OSU asked him to hold off on reaffirming to Miami. Still trying to see if they can make the numbers work. I think he ends up at Miami, which kills me because he has always been at the top of my WANT list.

It feels like at least a big reason for potentially not having space would be Corey Smith getting a 6th year. If Smith goes on to do great things this year and OSU wins the B1G, it will be worth it. But if not, and Bruce blows up at Miami...that will be hard.

If Bruce blows up at Miami they'll still be finishing 2nd at best in the Coastal division...

I've been upset about OSU not having room for guys at the finish line before, but never for a kid with this kind of talent. Bruce was always "take him and figure out the numbers later" kinda kid to me. I admit I was probably wrong as it seems like he will end up at Miami despite the fact OSU had him if they could have made room.

I agree, although I'm thankful that it's not a "stop calling a kid that committed to OSU years ago so he'd de-commit and we'd have room for Bruce" situation.

Just a continuation. Apparently the situation is still fluid. But if OSU doesn't have room, they don't have room and I'm not sure how they can make that change.
