Samsung Note 4 on Sprint

scooter1369

HTTR Forever.
So last weekend, I upgraded to the Note 4 from the Note 2. The phone is fast, has some great specs and is sleek looking.

But the Note 2 I had got much better 4GLTE reception than this Note 4 does. I have yet to see it exceed 3 out of 5 bars anywhere in the city. Sitting outside of work on Morse road, 500 yards from a Sprint 4GLTE tower, I am getting shitty service.

Has anyone seen this with their Note 4 or is this a known issue with this phone? I've done a search and can't seem to find anything hinting that the performance is this bad by anyone else.

I upgraded from a Galaxy S3 to the Note 4 about a month ago. I honestly didn't know Newark T-Mobile had 4G. I've had great 4G service since the upgrade. I love this phone.

I wish there was a ms paint type app for use with the s pen. That would be amazing

I have the Note Edge, which is essentially the Note 4. I've had major glitches with it though. I probably just need to bring it in and maybe get a replacement but I've been too busy with work. But have others had any major glitches with the Note 4? It comes to the point where I have to restart it a few times a day or I can't do anything, and it takes a few minutes to restart because my screen essentially freezes up, and then unfreezes for a few seconds giving me time to restart. Really annoying, and coming from Apple where I never had 1% of the issues I've had makes me a little PO'd. Given the fact though that if every users had the issues I have they would not have any type of following, I'm guessing I just got a shitty phone. So hopefully when I get a replacement it will work smoothly. Although the battery sucks. That's the only non-glitchy part of the phone that sucks. Well and the keyboard. I can't find one that has an autocorrect in the same realm as Apple's, and I've tried a few. Takes me probably 30% longer to type the same message on the Note 4 that it would have taken on my iphone.

I've owned 3 Samsung phones over the past 6 or 7 years and I haven't had a single issue with any of them. In fact, my last phone, a Galaxy S...3 (?), was a fucking trooper. I had it in my pocket and walked into a pool. I was in the pool for 10 minutes or so before I realized it was in my pocket. On top of that, the screen was cracked so badly that you could see the guts in the bottom left corner. It had to have had water completely inside of it and touching every last square inch. I only traded it in on the Note because I wanted a new phone.

I haven't had a single issue with the Note 4. The battery is better than any phone I've owned.
