I don't know about that. Michigan, Penn State, and Notre Dame are my three favorite Midwestern teams (I know, *boo* *hiss* etc). I guess I just like blue colors. But Ohio State still has damn fine football tradition, I assume better than Penn State. But since at least 2000, Ohio State has been the best Midwestern team by far.

For the Auburn game this year, Georgia wore black jerseys for the first time in history. Their fans loved it. Comments like this: "The stadium absolutley and literally exploded when the DAWGS ran out with the black jerseys." They had a poll, and only 7% of their fans hated it. GA normally wears red jerseys with white numbers. Their away jersey is white with black numbers. For GA, I like the black. But their uniforms were ugly in the first place. Second, they have red helmets which looks good with black, unlike grey. And third black is has always been a prominent color on their helmet, jerseys, and pants.

I like this Buckeye uniform better than the current one:

The main thing I like is the big numbers on the shoulders, and the silver pants with the stripe on them that matches the one on the helmet.

3. And the question you all have been dying to have answered, based on the number of e-mails I've received:
Ohio State still has not decided what jerseys it will wear on Jan. 7. As the No. 1 team, they have their choice. They wore white last year. And they wore scarlet for some photo shoots yesterday. But from what I hear, LSU is dying to wear white, so maybe OSU chooses white just to spite the Tigers.
In any case, there has been no decision.
