Scooter's annual football parking thread

Zippercat;1255603; said:
We were able to get 8 tickets in Sec. 8C for the Troy game, with my bother, sister, our spouses and our parents going to the game. It will be the first time that our parents and my sister-in-law will be able to go to a game. My wife has a nasty foot injury and, while she claims it's not gonna keep her from going, I would like to reduce the distance she has to walk. Of course, a shorter distance would be nice for our parents too.

So, my questions are:

(a) Is there someplace close to St. John (for the Skull Session) that I can drop everyone off and, if so, how can I get to it (we're staying in Dublin Friday night)?

(b) Does anyone ever sell a parking pass for one of the stadium lots and, if so, where? I've never seen anybody sell one here or on Ebay and could not find anything on the OSU site, although maybe I was not on right page.

Thanks for any suggestions!

:oh:

A) There is handicapped parking in the back of St. John (Lane Ave side). So, Lane avenue should be open so you could drop them off. If either of your parents have a handicapped plate or placard you could use that and pay $10 to park there. There is a shuttle that takes you over to the stadium from there.

B) Good luck finding a parking pass in a stadium lot. I think these are all season ticket holders now so it would be hard to get one for one game.

Thanks for the replies, everybody!! We don't have a handicap permit (thankfully the parents still get around ok) so it looks like the drop off on Lane is the best bet. After the game we'll just take our time 'till the crowds thin out and I can drive back toward that area, I guess. Maybe we'll find a party to crash?

Buckeye Parking for USC Game

I live one block away from USC (unfortunately LOL), and have several parking spaces available in my driveway. For any of you on here that are attending tomorrow's game, and looking for a safe place to park your car, send me a PM.

Traffic tomorrow will be a bigger P.I.A. considering Exposition Blvd is only one way traffic due to current construction. So you wont have to worry about getting out/traffic after the game.

Being a big UCLA fan, I was able to attend the UCLA game at Ohio State back in 2000 and had a great time. Especially drinking over in the Brewery District. Welcome to So Cal Buckeyes! Hope you guys have a great time out here.
