Seating in the Shoe - Questions

I avoid B deck at all costs because of the pillars.....but 19C front row is on the 40, and you won't get a better view of the field unless you were in 21 or 22 C row 1.

I'd take 19C row 1 over the typical 25-30A.

In C deck on either sideline, is row 38 still good tickets compared to say row 10. I don't have the option for row 10, i'm just wondering because I do have the option for 8C row 38. I haven't ever been in C deck, I've always been in mid A or low unobstructed B. Any info would help, Thanks!

I sat in row 33 last week. It was a hike to get up that high, but the view is great. The only thing that sucks about it is the climb.

upper c deck is fine. i sat in about row 35 last year for the m*ch*gan game. we were in section 18, so it was closer to mid-field. i do agree that the view is great. in my opinion, the best view of the game would be at the front of c deck near mid-field. as far as section 8 or a similar section? i can't say.

The only complaints I've heard about Row 1 & 2 in C Deck is the rail...depending on how tall / short you are, the rail may cause you to have to crouch or stretch in order to see the whole field. For that reason alone, I'd say that 20 or 22 C, Row 5 would be just about the best seats in the house.

...Not that I'm biased or anything. :wink2:

very much agreed. per your recommendations/advice last year for the game, i purchased tickets for your section. we were very happy with the seats. we were towards the top, but the view was still great. in fact, i'm looking for tickets near mid-field in c deck for the wisky game. if anyone has knowledge of 2 tickets near mid-field in c deck, i'm the guy. i've been looking for them.

padraig, i did see you at the m*ch*gan game. there was another guy with you. you have a dark goatee, correct? i didn't realize that that could have been you until i was in the shoe. i was expecting you to be one of those guys who points people to the appropriate seats. you were checking tickets at the vomitorium, right?

(make your necessary joke now; you know what i am referring to)

Yep, that was me...:tongue2: Load 'em up, move 'em out. Raw hide! ..."Everyone know where their seats are? Who needs help?" That's what you'll hear me yellin every game in 20C.

I can find your seat, direct you to the restroom, take your picture with the new field in the 'Shoe' as a backdrop...we aim to please. :wink2:

Question about a section in The Shoe

Mods if this isn't in the right place, feel free to move it.....

Has anyone sat in Section 24C before? I got two tickets for this Saturday's game and just wondering how good of a section this is? Not only for a view of the game, but also the fans that usually sit there.

Thanks guys

well you'll be on the 30 yard line or so towards the south end of the stadium.

You'll probably have more die-hard fan types up there than you would in some of the A sections, although you'll probably encounter all types there.

there will probably be some kids and stuff as well, hope that won't bother you too much.

As for view, it's decent. You're going to be up on the top (depending on row) so you'll be a bit further away from the field, but you should have a relatively unobstructed view of the field from there.

Thanks for the info! As long as my view of the field isn't obstructed, I'll be fine. I believe my tickets are on row 19, so we're not all the way at the top haha.

hey all the way to the top is the best because there isn't anyone to stand up in back of you and obscure your view to the rear.
