One other point about ND taking this game. So most fans of ND are probably catholic right? They accepted to play a game at 8 pm on Christmas Eve. What are most Catholic families doing on Christmas eve? Most likely going to church, for midnight mass. They get there early to sing carols, and see the C&E's who you see twice a year. It is very much a community event. So the question is, how bad will the ratings be, when your biggest audience is going to be at church.

I think you're confusing Notre Dame fans with actual Catholics.

Real God-fearing, practicing Catholics would never have allowed the hiring of Charlie Weis, as he single-handedly embodies at least six of the seven deadly sins (gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride) and possibly even all seven, but the thought of Charlie in lust (Jimmah!) is too creepy to dwell on.

I'm 62% certain Charlie Weis may even be the anti-Christ.

On a side note, how funny would it be if during Hawaii's superbowl shuffle before the game, they accidently punch Weis in the uterus and scare all the Catholics out of the stadium (assuming any Catholics show up for this game on xmas eve.)

Funny? Are you kidding? That'd be scary as hell! It's like that Happy-Fun-Ball skit from SNL ... Do not taunt Charlie's uterus!

Last thing anybody wants is for Charlie to go into labor and pop the love child of Brady Quinn and Jimmy Clausen out of his gunt. That kid'll be born in full Village People regalia singin' YMCA.
