SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

I'd like to see scUM get the "death penalty"; however, realistically that isn't likely. The best that we can hope for is probably 3 years of vacated wins, several years on probation, several years with a post season ban, significant reduction in the number of scholarships for multiple years, and/or maybe the return of bowl money for 2021- 2023, etc.
We are looking for forfeits, not vacated wins. Hoping for all of ‘21 and ‘22, and ‘23 prior to the Sparty game when the Stalions info came out.

A 2-year bowl ban is OK with me, and some scholarship reductions. Any monetary penalties don’t matter to me.

Just don't see that happening.

Do you know when the last time the NCAA declared a forfeit due to rule violations? I found 1 instance back on September 12th, 1998:

You cheat, you lose. Vacated means they won something. They didn't.

Does a loss of scholarships even matter in the NIL era?
No, Michigan is way over the scholarship limit currently because they pay for school for incoming transfers through NIL and don’t put them on scholarship.

It’s definitely against the spirit of NCAA rules to outright cheating and probably something the NCAA should address if they were mildly competent.

If the NCAA isn’t competent its because the colleges don’t want them to be competent.

I'm guessing if they win next week, the NCAA will only vacate/forfeit 21 and 22 because they won't want to taint (much less vacate) the playoff championship. I just don't see how you can vacate or forfeit the first 7 games of the season and, with a straight face, declare the subsequent championship legit. But it's the ncaa, so who knows. If tcun lose, all bets are off.

Jim Harbaugh advocates paying players, deflects talk on future

Jim Harbaugh batted away any questions about his future at Saturday's media day session for the College Football Playoff National Championship, instead using his time to advocate for revenue sharing for college athletes.

The Michigan coach said coaches, administrators and television networks are all "robbing the same train" in making money off unpaid college players and he hopes the rapid pace of change in the sport can finally make revenue sharing a reality, not just in football, but in all collegiate athletics.

"We've seen a whole conference go into a portal," Harbaugh said of the Pac-12. "If those kind of things can happen overnight ... I don't know how the sausage gets made completely, but there's a lot of smart people that do, that know a lot about revenue sharing, know a lot about how those algorithms and economics work. And the real issue is there's no voice for the players."

Just sayin': Sad but true.....:sad2:
