I'm 4 miles outside the path of totality. Gonna make the trek about 10 miles south to Napoleon to a friends house to view totality. They are supposed to get 1 1/2 minutes of totality.
Not sure if anyone posted it earlier in the thread but there is a great website that has a simulator where you can choose a location and it will show just how much you will be able to see.

Though, now that I think of it, we got to Paducah the day before and left the day after. I am getting a kick out of the "oh no! Traffic!!! RUN!!!" folks. Is it really going to be worse than after a Buckeye game? Or after a Browns game? I'm going to bet "no".

After a Buckeye game I have at least gotten to watch a Buckeye game. After this, I would have gotten to stare at a ball of fire for 4 mins.

To be factually correct, you will have stared at the moon for 4 minutes, with the "ball of fire" being behind the moon. But I get your point.
To that end, the traffic after a win is many times more bearable than it is after a loss.

Hmmm... only 4 people on earth know where Paducah KY is...
When I was installing computer systems for Goodyear a hundred yrs ago, I would fly from Ak-Can to Paducah then drive to Union City TN... so I'm one of the 4.. and now I know another of the 4

I wrote, installed and trained... the software/systems that run the entire Goodyear facilities.. at every Goodyear plant in the USA, Canada and Australia

Humorous Gadsden story...
I was really going to impress them.. had a major presentation to the exec tier in Gadsden.. dressed to the nine's
Didn't know only selected rooms had A/C.. so after walking thru the plant to get to the presentation room... I was drenched... absolute scag
everything soaked, hair matted... and they laughed like hell.. stupid ass Yankee

Months in Union City (it was 1st.. so multiple trips), month in Danville VA, Gadsden AL, Lawton OK, Topeka KS, Fayetteville, Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton
What would surprise folks... most Goodyear plants are so spotless you could eat lunch on the floor next to a machine... which is also why Firestone 500 disasters happened because their plants are yuk and humid as hell... tires can't bond correctly thus Firestone 500 and 721's would explode

Drove thru Union City a bunch on US45 from Paducah to Fairhope AL back in the day. Been thru Gadsden AL once between Mobile and Chattanooga.

I am in downtown Little Rock and there was no traffic coming in at all.

Nor is there any downtown outside of the Main Street along the River. But I paid $12 for all day parking a few blocks away and walked to where all the people are.
