Sometimes the world gets it right


As the father of a mentally challenged daughter, I can tell you the coaches, players, fans, and even the refs have given that young man a moment he will always cherish. If you asked challenged people what they most desire, I dare say that the most frequent reply would be "normal" (whatever that is). For just a few moments, the young man had a chance to be "normal", interacting with the people he would love to be like. To play and score in a "normal" basketball game, not in a challenger league. Josh, thank you for posting the video. And no, I am not crying. I just got a little dust in my eyes. All right, I got a lot of dust in my eyes.
