Buckeye Kim

Newbie
Does anyone know the name of the song played at the home basketball games just before the start of second half? It has a great beat and chant like vocals. It gets the place going like Let's Get Ready To Rumble does. It is not a Buckeye song.

I know the song you're referring to and unfortunately don't know who writes it.

This is a different song than the "We're ready" DMX song played before the game.

You're very right that the song gets you pumped up, much more than DMX imo.

Wait, THAT's DMX? The song that consists entirely of "we ready, weeee ready, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ready, for you."? I fuckin hate that song. First time I heard it, I thought they were saying "Cleveland" as I was at a Browns game. Then I heard it piped through at Paul Brown Stadium, and than at the VCA during the Wisconsin game a few weeks back.

Yep...right before they go into the tunnel with about 20 minutes left. Just over 6 months...I don't know if I can make it.

They used to play "Hey ya" by Outkast after "Hells Bells" and that was the only reason I started liking that song.

I do like though how Ohio Stadium doesn't need to blast obnoxious music through the speakers DURING the game to get their fans to wake up.

It's too bad that we need hells bells to get people excited at a Buckeyes game. We Americans are truly becoming pitiful creatures. Maybe in a few more years people won't get jacked up unless they see a beheading before the game.
