Sound Off !!! - Introduce Yourself

Joined in November 2004, posted off and on for a year or two. But now i'm back!

Never properly introduced myself so I figured I would here. Born and raised a Buckeye and Cleveland sports fan in Fort Wayne, IN. Parents are both from Cleveland. Currently attend Indiana University (sorry). Started being a die hard around the Robert Smith era, think I was 4 or 5. Been to several Ohio State games in my life but the first and only time I've been to the Shoe was Penn State last year. Such a disappointing game but still one of the best experiences of my life. Hoping to go back this year to the USC game for my birthday.

Cool. Look for BB73's trivia threads; I think you'll like them. Go Bucks!

Oh, one word of caution.

It's dangerous to go alone. Take this...

FWIW

I'm pushing 50 and started following the Buckeyes back in 1968, when they really started getting tons of national games on ABC. I wanted to go there and play for Earl Bruce myself in 1979, having been accepted but was far too poor at the time. Stopped playing ball and went to a local college in Western New York but never stopped being a Buckeye football fan.

I always watch/record the games on TV and with ABC,ESPN & the Big 10 Network, I'm not missing anything. I have yet to travel to Columbus for a game and hope to do so before I die. ( It's on my Bucket list - LOL ). Hoping to catch the Toledo game in Cleveland, since that's about a 3.5 hour drive for me.

Anyhow, I'm glad I found this place and will be all ready for opening day in 6 weeks.

Go Buckeyes ! :osu:
