Yup i find and burned a lot of music onto a C.D. I now have it on my Xbox 360, my computer, my dads computer, and i'll probably end up putting it in our C.D player out in the living room so i can play it whenever the Buckeyes score or something like that.

I was raised in NewCarlisle, Ohio. I moved with my family to the Ann Arbor Michigan area in '87. It was tough sleddin up here in the Cooper era. I'm loving life now although you never get used to the stink of "The Big House".
I have been booted from a few boards for the sigs and avatars I make with my Buckeye clips. GridIronFans.com the most recient. I don't know how I didn't find this board sooner and I am excited to hang out here and have some fun.

It's actually alot of fun to be a Buckeye around here these days. I can't tell you how many cool people I have met just 'cause I have my Buckeye gear on near campus. After we won the National Championship, when people saw me in my Mike Doss jersey they would walk over to me and congradulate me and talk about the game.
Of course I have as many bad experiences as good but you learn how to deal with it. I'm sure Michigan fans in C-Bus would have the same experiences.

Wow am I late to the party...
I made it here from BN some time in 2004 I think. Somehow I went from putting off posting in this thread to mistakenly believeing that I already had.
My love for the Bucks comes from having grown up in Columbus and having a grandfather with season tickets. I saw at least one game a year in person throughout the 70s. Randy Gradishar was my hero, and the reason that I wanted to be a linebacker.
I settled for punting (Tom Skladany!) after realizing that I had no athletic ability; but after years of punting a football for hours every day, I still sucked.
My time at tOSU was during the leanest years of my lifetime, and I graduated with a BSEE in 12/89.
I stopped following the Bucks for awhile near the end of the Cooper years because the teams behavior was indefensible. When Andy Geiger chose JT to replace JC, I warned my wife that my love for the Bucks would certainly return. I was more interested during the 2001 7-5 year than I was during 1998. Not kidding.
Internet-wise, I started off on BN with the appelation "BigBucks", a completely ironic moniker to say the least. I put up >300 posts with that nic', which was probably top ten at the time, and then disappeared for awhile; my wife was going through a difficult pregnancy.
I reappeared (still at BN) with my current moniker when the baby was born (or on the way maybe?). His first day home from the hospital (after 12 1/2 days in the NICU) was 1/2/03. The first Buckeye game of his life sealed a National Championship.
All of that was while I lived in SoCal, spending most game Saturdays with SanClementeBuck et. al. at the National Sports Grill in Santa Ana. I now live in Tallahassee, following a circuitous and financially devastating route.
BTW: To those of you whom I have offended: My son who came home from the hospital turned out to be border-line autistic. In taking him to every specialist I can find to keep him from slipping into that horrible black hole, I got to know quite a bit about mental illness... enough to realize that the genes that predisposed my son to his condition came from me. I have since been diagnosed with a hideous mix of disorders. I won't share the details with you, but suffice it to say that it explains:

- How I can be so incredibly offensive and yet not understand what I've done to offend. (Until my diagnosis I didn't even realize that I was the problem)

I'm from Xenia, OH yeah that's right X-Town home of... well ... darn it. I started following the Buckeyes in my early teenage years during Eddie George's Junior Season. Correct if I am wrong but that was also the year the Bengals drafted Wilkenson. I have been faithful ever since and would never forsake my vows and commit adultry with another college football team under any circumstances till death do me part. I am now an Air Force enlisted member. I have interests in nearly every Major sport (if you don't count Hockey read every).
I've lived in Ft Walton Beach Florida (near Pensacola) and now reside in Oklahoma City. Surprisingly there were more Gator fans than Seminoles there and they disgusted me. Its safe to say I dislike all the Florida teams, but the Gators take the cake and its not close.
Here in OKC its OU all the time there is no other sports team around except a AAA baseball team. They are OU insane and blind here. I get really pissed off when I go into a mall and see "OSU" Oklahoma State hats when they barely even care about the team. That not it though. Can I find scUM hat? Yes. Can I find an authentic tOSU hat? No. Do you know how much this burns me? OU fans are pretty much loyally blind, but I can forgive them the Sooners are all they have. Given that my Buckeye stuff will be flown and worn all year long here hoping we get the chance to whoop them in the Title game.

I have a 19 month old daughter and another baby due any day now. My daughter does not say "Go Bucks" ...Yet!!! However when ever Across the Field plays she does get extremely excited and she sings the ever popular "We don't give a damn for the whole state of Michigan" (or tries) !!!

DBigBucks: You've had quite a journey since last we spoke at The National. Hope things continue to improve for you and yours. BTW, The National closed 2 years ago (replaced by condos). Our Orange/Inland Empire Bucks meet at The Corner Office in Costa Mesa. Crowds average 200/250 at FB gamedays. We had 400 to watch the Texas and weasel games in '05.

i didnt really give a detailed info sheet about me and my coming of a Buckeye fan. So i'll start....beware, its nasty in the beginning.
Well i grew up in Dayton, Ohio for the first 7 years of my life. Didnt watch any sports and didnt support any 1 team. Then moved about 40 minutes west of Dayton to a town called Eaton. Thats where i started playing football in 4th grade. Still didnt have a set team, but was beginning to watch some college ball. I remember my dad always rooting for Ohio St. so i would root against him....and support....this is hard to say....Michigan. Ok, i said it! I was young and foolish, please forgive me.
I wasnt a scUM fan at all. Just liked to be somewhat different than my pops. Then, i think, a year before the NC year, i turned over to the good side. I watched the Buckeyes play and was pleased with them. I was pretty hungry to see them play and learn more about them. The NC year was the year it sealed it for me. When Dorsey threw up that lopsided, desperation pass i was nearly crying for joy. I couldnt help it!
About 2 years later, i moved to Indiana (parental divorce). I stay true to my Buckeyes and watched every single game on TV. I even stayed up till 4 in the morning to watch a re-run of the Buckeyes play Indiana last year. My room is now decked out in Ohio St. gear. I need more, but money prohibits that. Right now i have about 3 sweatshirts, a hoody, a t-shirt, a zip-up jacket, a leather jacket, 2 banners, 3 calendars, and a framed picture of "The Shoe". I almost forgot about the Buckeye bedspread, with matching pillowcases, a small head pillow, a HUGE pillow and some other things. We've been planning to paint my room scarlet N gray, but never got around to it.
So, thats about it. Im going to be a Buckeye till i Die!

By my post banner you can see i have benn on a while, but never gave myself a shout out til now.
Grew up in Mansfield for 18 years, joined the Air Force they moved me to Vegas (i think this is second place to columbus in Buckeye fans so i am not alone) i have orders to Moreno Valley CA in early '07 so i will continue to bleed scarlet and grey all the way to the ocean and back.

I live in Columbus now, but I am originally from Youngstown. I played football from 90lbs up to senior year in High School but never pursued college. i think I was just burned out by that time. I wish I could go back though! Been a Buckeye fan my whole life.
Looking forward to talking football.

I have been reading here but not posting much. Came over from BSB. Rivals boards are nothing. This place is like heaven.
My Buckeye story; Born and lived 13 years in Dayton, OH. Moved to Texas in Jr. High. Up here at OSU for school now. My mom's cousin, Doug Donley, played for OSU in the late 70s-early 80s. He is actually one of two players to ever lead OSU in receptions for three years. Ohio State has been in my blood since birth. I used to sleep in my 45 jersey before every game when I was a kid. Charles Woodson and Tai Streets broke my heart. My sister went to scUM and whenever we went to visit her, I would always wear Ohio State clothes. I love my sister 51 weeks of the year. I remember exactly where I was, and what road I almost ran off because of joy, when I heard Coop was fired. I was there rubbing it in all the Aggies faces when we dominated them in the Sugar Bowl. I believe Brent Musberger hates us because NU was dominated by OSU for so long. MoClarett broke the world record when he went from god to douche in 5.7 seconds. Joe Germaine is my favorite Buckeye of all time, solely because of his drive against ASU at the end of the Rose Bowl (Troy Smith is making an honest to goodness push for it right now). I sang the Alma Mater with Matt Wilhelm on the field after we beat scUM in 02. I was at the national championship game and hugged about 10 people in my section I didn't know when we won. The ramp entrance and Script Ohio bring tears to my eyes.
