PSU had a lot of time off also and a really crazy schedule. It didnt seem to bother them. Surely MSU will be hungry and healthy when they hit the court so the boys better be ready from the opening tip.

Sparty looks really disjointed and a half-step slow.

Rutgers is going to win this game probably. But getting back to game speed will benefit Sparty. The Buckeyes will need to play well and not turn it over because Sparty will likely play much better Sunday than they are today.

So do we get a pissed off motivated Sparty team or a defeated complete demoralized Sparty team. I’m going to assume they get their feet back and comeback firing. Not that they are very great this year but I’d be shocked if they lay another complete stinker

MSU was missing a lot of open looks. While the 37 points was bad, it was really their defense that looked pitiful as Rutgers was also missing lots of open shots (Harper was 1-12 at one point).

Normally, I would assume that Izzo would be tearing them a new one and they would come out with a lot more fire next game, but Izzo has seemed somewhat defeated this year as well.

Gabe Brown was out yesterday due to covid, not sure if he is able to play this game but he is a rotation player for MSU. If the spread is OSU -8 or -9, it is gonna be hard to make a case to back MSU after that disaster last night. There has to be a totally different performance from the Spartans.
