2005 Spring Football

What better way to fight off bordom than to put together a mock Spring Game draft before spring ball even starts. Next week my preseason rankings come out. :p

* SR's are captains and not drafted

A few thoughts
-Ginn and Holmes won't play more than a quarter
-QB won't be able to run like last year. If they can run QB with be drafted in the top 3.
-History shows that Smith is drafted first but Zwick wins the game
-QB will be the lowest drafted position w/o a senior starting
-RB is wide open and will relay on how Pittman and Haw do this spring
-I'm assuming D'Andrea is out for the spring.

He wasn't on the depth chart that I used. We can put him behind Mangold so that Nick doesn't have to play the whole game. Winner has started in the SG the past 2 years so it would be hard for Cordle to beat him out after just 15 practices. Hopefully by this time next year cordle will be a beast. IMO Datish will be the backup center next year and Cordle will RS.

I'm back! A little tanner and quite a few less brain cells. Those damn Mai Tai's. Nice to come back and see we pick up the #1 SG in the nation. Hope all is well with all of you. Got to get unpacked and back to the grind stone tomorrow. Spring Game in 4 weeks.
