I've recently heard about standing room only tickets being made available in the near future for the BCS title game. Does anyone know where the standing room only area is located? I plan on standing the entire game anyway, so I was just curious.

Vs. the Irish in the Fiesta Bowl (ASU Stadium), there were people standing all around the top of that stadium...so I'd guess that's where they'd be in the new stadium, but it's hard to tell since I've never been in the new one.

I bought a standing room ticket last year. I was up in a corner, behind the last row. But I had a great view of the fireworks they shot off from a nearby small mountain peak.

I would have held off buying a ticket from a broker if I'd known these were going to be available. Like you said, we'll be standing almost the entire game anyway.

There seems to be balconies at each end zone in the upper levels. I'm thinking that is where these might be. Has anyone heard anything on these? Also anybody know anything about sections 138-144? They're on some seating charts and not on others.

I was curious about standing room and e-mailed the fiesta bowl ticket office directly. Their response was:
"There will be no standing room tickets. The game is sold out. Thank you.Fiesta Bowl Ticket Office"

Did they mean none were offered period, or did they mean no more were going to be for sale?

Seating chart

I found the seating chart on stubhub.com to be very helpful. Some places don't show those seats because they are removeable and depending on the event, they may or may not be present. That end is also where they roll in the big pan that they field sits on. It's very cool. It's the only stadium in North America (maybe the world) where the field sits on a tray outside and then they roll it in for the game. Saw a show about it on Discovery.
