Woody Rules!
The legendary Yes guitarist Steve Howe is having a brief tour of the eastern US this spring.
For those of us in Ohio, he will be in Cincinnati April 23 at Bogart's. And in Cleveland April 24 at the House of Blues.
For more tour dates and locations, you can go to Yesworld.com and there is a link.
I am very excited to hopefully get to finally meet Steve and see him play up close! For those of you not familiar with his solo shows, from what I know he will play probably a majority of acoustic, but I would guess he will have a wide array of guitars with him, as usual. You will probably have to put up with his singing on a few songs, but it's well worth it to see/hear him play live.
For those of you not very familiar with Steve, he is a very eclectic rock guitarist who was voted best overall guitarist by his peers for 5 straight years ('72-'76). A feat which has not been duplicated by ANYONE else.
Think "Les Paul / Chet Atkins / Wes Montgomery meets rock" and you have Steve Howe.
