Chaminade-Madonna defensive back Johnathan Aiken has been turning heads as a member of the vaunted South Florida Express team that competes in 7-on-7 tournaments during the spring. Chaminade-Madonna head coach Tim Tyrell, who played for Jim Tressel at Youngstown State, has called Aiken the heart and soul of his team. Coach Tyrell has also noted that Aiken seems like a good fit for the Big 10 beacuse of his physcial style of play...something the OSU coaches will get a good look at when Aiken works out for the OSU staff this summer (he was named a defensive MVP at OSU's camp last summer). A recent junior day visit to South Florida netted Aiken an offer. The BPRT was able to slow him down long enough to throw a Straight Six his way...

BPRT: When you think of Ohio State football, what comes to mind?

JA: When I think of Ohio State, I think of family! I think of greatness and, most of all, leadership.

BPRT: What college coaches and players keep your attention and why?

JA: I love college football so no one school has a my complete attention. I mostly think about me getting playing time on the next level!

BPRT:
You have one more year in your high school career...what goals have you set personally for this upcoming season?

JA: My personal goal is to play in the ESPN All-American game and make my college choice on TV.

BPRT:
When your career is over, how would you like people to remember Johnathan Aiken?

JA: That kid Johnathan Aiken was a legend before his time! He changed the game of football and he brought a level of energy to the game that was unstoppable!!!

BPRT: If you were analyzing yourself on film, what would you list as your strengths and what needs some work?

JA: Some of my strengths are open field tackling and it's not really a weakness, but what I am working on man to man coverage.

BPRT: What are some of your favorite things to do away from football?

KH: Play video games...hang out with friends...girls!!!!!!! Girls!!!!! And more girls!!!!!
