Student Ticket Vouchers

wells

All-American
It says on the student ticket form, that a voucher and buckeye id must be presented to obtain a ticket in Tempe.

My question is this...

1) Is the ticket obtained through will-call or a OSU ticket representive down in Tempe?

2) Does it matter who presents the voucher and buck-id to acquire the ticket?

3) Can they deny any ticket claim down in Tempe?

4) Any and all information pertaining to this process, or ticket procedures down in Tempe would be much appreciated.

By no means are we trying to scalp these tickets, there are 6 of us going, some of the individuals interested in the tickets are graduates of OSU and obviously wont have a Buck-ID.

Thanks and go Bucks!

If you are lucky enough to get a ticket, be prepared to pay $900 or so for a round trip plane ticket out there and back as they jack up the prices to wherever our bowl destination is.

When I got them for the NC you picked them up at a will call booth. To make things better, the earlier you picked them up the better tickets you got.

How anal were they about getting the tickets though? Thats whats holding us up, we dont want to get these extra tickets for our friends if they are only going to get cock blocked by the ticket guy in Tempe.

We were talking about flying into vegas and driving from there,

Still will be expensive, a lot of people did that back in 02 when I headed out there. That's why I just ponied up and bought a package deal.

I just checked, cheapest I've seen to Vegas is about $400 and cheapest to Phoenix is about $600 but that's leaving and arriving at ridiculous hours.

My friend found for under $600:
-Round trip from Columbus to Phoenix, arriving on Dec. 31 at 3 and leaving Jan 3 at midnight
- Ramada Inn for all those nights

The airlines have jacked the prices but here is a tip. Try flying from Cleveland, Akron, or Indy. You can still get around $300 R\T from these cities depending on the day.

One more tip, you NEED to be here for the Fiesta Bowl Blockparty on 12/31. It is a blast.

I'm not going this year, I was out there in '02 for the title game. The Bandersnatch/VC West was crazy out there. Also enjoyed a night at "The Library.":wink2:
