MSU was a team full of 3* and 2* star recruits with a very mediocre QB who just lost their star DC to Pittsburgh and were coasting on the system he had installed.

UM this year is a team full of 4* and 5* recruits with a competent QB and top notch coaching staff.

Not really too comparable imo.

I'm not saying they'll win for sure, but it'll be a hell of a lot closer than MSU played Alabama.
