I noticed before the game that TB looked very uptight. I think his confidence has been shaken these last five quarters of football and the coaches need to settle him.

Second half adjustments? How about lining up Saine and Beanie in the backfield and daring the bastards to stop you.

Jam it down their throats and with two backs being able to handle the rock I think we set the tempo on offense. It just seems like the scUM D has tried to stop the run but we can still get about 3 ypc.

I see scUM making some offensive adjustments our offense needs to do the same. I like the two back scheme as opposed to the standard I form.

I've been saying all week, the vibe around the state has been DIFFERENT. Everyone's been fired up all week, even the casual fans. There's a different edge. We WANT THIS ONE BAD.

No way I can type and watch the game at the same time, so everything in one post. Love the effort by the D. The after the first drive by Michigan has really stepped up. And good to see that it doesn't seem Hart nor Henne are dramatically affected by their injuries, so there will be no excuses.

The O has to stop being their own worst enemy. If we played more solid, and limit the mistakes, we would be up by more than just 4 points. It doesn't seem (though the stats may disagree), that we are using Beanie enough. Disagree with Herbsteit on this. We need to use the run, to open the passing game.

Boeckman has got to STOP underthrowing his receivers. If Tressel is telling him to do it, then Tressel needs to STOP telling him to. It worked against lesser teams, but it won't cut it against decent teams. Thus far, just not a good performance by Boeckman. The weather seems to have affected him more than anyone. And if you drop the ball, drop on it. Don't pick it up. Almost lost one there deep in our territory.

If the D maintains, and we start using Beanie more effectively and establish a decent running game, we win this.

Finally, what a horrible game by the refs. The blown interferance call was critical in terms of points (we would have at least gotten 3 on that drive), and in momentum. The blown intentional grounding call also almost cost us 3. If we lose because of another bad call by the refs, I think I will get sick.
