THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

Man, Hendo is really becoming a weapon. He is definitely a difference maker for the O. Really feel like he can get things to open up next Sat.
He just has another gear and he has had limited carries this year. His legs are fresh and he is injury free. But honestly, the OL has been doing and excellent job for all the RBs. Chip had some good runs, as did Hayden against Minny.

He is really attacking holes and not dancing. If he can get 3 or 4 yards per carry, and can break a couple huge ones.... I likey alot.

Over these 20+ years of success over scUM, the running backs have often been the catalysts of victory with monster games: Jonathon Wells, Beanie (222 yds), Pittman, Herron, Zeke (214), Dobbins (211), (others I am forgetting),... Let's see if Hendo can continue his hot streak one more Game.

The Game that broke them.

So tired of having their shit pushed in so badly and so consistently, Jimmy went nuts. Ducked The Game in '20 with a fake COVID excuse and cheated his ass off to win '21 & '22

Connor Stallions front and center on the scUM sideline @0:48.

Hutchinson and teammate untie Dobbins' shoe and remove it @40:28. 15-yard penalty. :slappy:

Buckeye flags out everywhere when I went to get coffee this morning. Overheard people already talking about the game in the shop. Starting to remind me of #1 v #2 type hype. Isn't quite there and, barring another match like that, never will be. But it isn't far off, and you can feel it in the air.

Just like back then, it's going to be a LONG week. One where very little gets done compared to usual. But if there's one thing I've come to appreciate in that time - it's learning to love the build up. The Game itself just fly's by and before you know it, you're left with the high or (god forbid) the low. But the deep inhale before the media noise crescendo's, then all the soon-to-be circus of coverage, pre-game talks, trash talk, all of it. Learn it love it, because this week ends up going by in a blink when you turn around to look back at it.

7:22 am here, on a calm and crisp November Sunday in NEO. And *ichigan still fucking sucks.

I think it shouldn’t be lost on everyone the following..

1. They’ve had two back to back tough ass games

2. They’ve had a stupidily busy last 6 weeks. Talk about distractions.

3. They’re a fairly beat up team. They lost two OL these last few weeks and Roman Wilson. That was just on offense.

4. They’re refusing to throw the ball all the sudden for some reason.

A) which vs our secondary is a death sentence.

These two teams are trending in the opposite direction. Once we got through our tough stretch you could tell we took the weight off the bat.

Meanwhile TCUN have lived off mistakes these last few weeks to win.

As I said… don’t make dumb mistakes is priority 1.

That means no turnovers, no bad penalties, and that means no stupid special teams issues.

Otherwise the whole game is stopping the run.

That’s literally it.

They don’t have the skill or the QB to make the plays downfield. Our DBs have a heavy advantage vs their shit WRs and we need to treat it that way. STOP THE RUN.
They pulled the exact same shit last year and came out looking like the greatest show on turf against us. Expect the unexpected next Saturday, and I don’t care if Stallions and Jimmy aren’t around, we better have all new signs. Finally, McCord needs zero turnovers. They are absolute ball hawks on defense.
