THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

We lost the "they cheated" get outta jail card today. There's no good excuse for losing this one. None.

Disagree. This was a top 3 match up on the road. Trying to treat it as win or bust was always strange to me.

Until Day wins big games consistently, people will have questions and understandably so. If you want to fire him to preemptively that's fine. I don't think there's a point to dismissing someone winning 11 games a year. 95% chance you hire someone worse while turning the staff and roster upside down.

That Big Game Ryan Day struggles mightily when his team faces equal talent.

I thought the math was pretty clear. Sorry if it wasn't

So did Tressel and Urban.

It's wasn't just that play. MCCORD gave him a great chance in man, threw a ball with tons of air under it for Marv to run under, and he just pulled up and let it bounce. At leas 3 plays where he pulled up early. He seemed to play either tight or lazy you be the judge. He definitely seemed to struggle with the physical approach they came at him with. Hate to see a legend go down like that. As I said I assume he will opt out and has played his last down as a Buckeye.

I mean on that first int couldn't he have at least blown the defender up right at the int spot to give the defense a chance? Not meaning to dwell, on it but it became the whole game in one play.
Bro, Kyle might be a good kid and a good representative for OSU but he is not in line with the QB legacy at OSU for the past 10 years. He’s good but not good enough. That first 1st was just horrible and he was short arming throws all day. We lost. It is what it is, but he made some crucial mistakes imo that made other units have to scramble.

I disagree. The weaknesses today were the weaknesses they've displayed in every single game the entire season. There was nothing here today that was unexpected. Today was what this team is. Good, bad, ugly, indifferent. This was the team all year. And it wasn't good enough. There's nothing that cost us this game that hasn't been said repeatedly all season long by pundits, media, people on this board. Everyone.

Today's performance is just what this team is, whether we like it or not.
Disagree???

That’s what I said all week.

So maybe you agree with me then???

I said all god damn week it was up to us to make plays and we failed to do it

Knowles - I don't know .... but this sudo 3-3-5 isn't working.... but changing defensive schemes after 2 years is a risk....

Day maybe, McCord would have to be on one....
Fleming needs to go. I don't care if he's a good man results just aren't there.

Also it's a 4-2-5. Probably should have played 4-3 this game but would have killed to have a Pete Werner in this game against the TE

So did Tressel and Urban.

Tressel's teams always seemed to play that high wire act in big games and sometimes it spectacularly worked and others spectacularly failed.

Urban's teams always found a way to lose to teams they had zero business losing too.

I’m not buying the idea that A) Michigan is going to be gutted when these seniors leave. B) that the ncaa is going to do anything that keeps recruits and portal folks from heading to Ann Arbor.

I am of the opinion that we will end up in a bowl game against Alabama and will not have Harrison, Egbuka, and Henderson.
IIRC, they are one of the most experienced teams in CFB. They're losing their best players on offense. They're going to be a very different team next year. As for the NCAA, you're right, that's definitely a wildcard, but they're talking/acting more pointedly that usual and there are 2 investigations that will have punishments meted out.

What that means against us in our current form remains to be seen. Momentum means a helluva lot in a rivalry and they have all of it right now.

If Ransom doesn't get hurt I wonder if that ends up being Styles.

It still might. Dude is 6'4 and 230lbs. He'll be a linebacker sooner or later.

And I 100% agree with that. Should be a wide open competition leading into camp next year. Just watching the game I thought their dbs were more physical than osus wrs
