That wasn't Jim Harbaugh on the opposite sideline. It was their fucking OL assistant who out-coached Ryan Day today.

Enough excuses. Day had everything set up in his favor today and still couldn't pull it off.

We have dlineman (two five stars and potentially flipping a high 4star from FL) and mad high end CB’s. Not to mention what you mentioned. We literally only need a competent QB out of all the five stars we recruit and some o-lineman (we are lacking there admittedly ). Recruiting is not the problem-outside of oline. Execution is.

Bottom line is Ryan owns two of those. He went all in on Honda McCord and he’s just not the QB we are used to having. Then don’t even get me started on the special teams. We all know that coach shouldn’t be around.

As for Knowles? He held them to 337 yards and 30 points with only about 150 on the ground. That’s good enough IMO considering 7 came off of turnovers.

So I don’t put much fault in the defense. Because after all they’re the ones who held us above water all season anyways.

1. Neither pick is on McCord…but both of these have been dissected ad naseum
2. Yes, and giving up points every drive and that inability to get off the field directly correlates to this loss. Sorry, I can’t give a pass to Knowles no matter what he did the rest of the year. Michigan said this is who we are and we dare you to stop us. They didn’t do anything they haven’t done all season. Two years in a row with Knowles, he has not had the answer.
3. Yep, they continue to suck.
4. Desire, heart, physicality, will to win, mental fortitude, whatever you want to call it this team lacks it at the very core.

Nah Day picked McCord over JJ. He wanted him and got him. Problem is Dsy hasn’t developed him. Brown wasn’t even close to McCord in being ready.

Disappointing, but it's just hard to sort out, with the monkey-wrench the Cheaters have thrown into all of this.

This year, they have an older, more experienced team, they were at home, yet the Buckeyes kept it close. If it wasn't for the past two tainted years, this loss would be hard, but not this impossibly hard, to swallow. It would be a one-off win in a difficult year. An anomaly. Onward to next year.

But instead . . . eh, they are truly disgusting. They have ruined the rivalry. Even if the wins are vacated or forfeited, how does either side come back from what their sick, cheating, half-brained, dishonorable coach has done?

It used to be a fun hate. Now it's just hate.
