I mean I definitely think we can win. But their days of being our doormat are over, for now.
That's their third win since 2001...that's a 3-17 record for them against us. Between their previous two wins in 2003 and 2011 we won seven straight, and we won eight straight from 2011 until the loss today. So, if you think that winning one game ever seven to eight years means the end of their "being our doormat", then I don't what to tell you...

So personal story to put this all in perspective (at least to me):

Go back to 2006 and we’re living in Florida. My daughter is 8-9 and we lose to UF in the NC game. I tell her she doesn’t have to go to school the next day (seeing the way they were acting). She insists on wearing OSU gear and going. She actually said to me “I am a fan when they win and I’ll be a fan when they lose.” At 8 or 9 years old mind you.

Flash forward to tonight. Now 23 years old, working second shift, she comes to see me in my basement bar, getting drunk, alone to say sorry. She watched it at worked and felt bad for me. Got into it with a tsun fan first.

I’m just going to drink to help with the dustiness down here, but I’ll say with pride that I know how to raise them.

We'll see. They've made real changes on both sides of the ball and have an identity to build on. They woke up a bit.

Let's see how things hold up when they have a little turnover. Lose their DEs, lose their seniors and some unexpected departures after they finally won the rivalry!!1.

If they maintain their coaching staff and philosophy they'll be a good team, but they won't be able to lean on a senior laden roster vs a young, unexpecting opponent. What happens when all those same annoying issues (talent deficiencies, only playing manball, having a bad brain) pop up again?
