You ain't kidding. He's made every putt he's looked at...Earlier this summer I thought this guy was just a loud mouthed douchebag. Fuck that. This guy can play and he's not scared of anyone. Bring it home Woody!!

The guy's certifiable. 10-12 years ago he bent his putter in half by banging it against his head. :smash:

Played Tartan East yesterday. Took advantage of the twilight $39 after 3pm. Place was a ghost town so we moved around pretty quick.
The fairways don't leave you much room to spray your drive. I spent most of the front nine punching my second shot back into the fairway. All in all I would rate this place one of the best public courses in the c-bus area

I am golfed out! Went to Tampa over the weekend and played 5 times in 4 days. We played Rocky Point, Saddlebrook, Tampa Palms and the USF university course. Tampa Palms was solid and Saddlebrook was a fun resort course.

Has there ever been a BuckyePlanet golf outing? I suck at golf(but love it still) and thought this might be an interesting trial. I wouldn't mind organizing it if I knew who was interested. I live in the Columbus area and could contact some local courses if I knew how many people were interested. I normally golf at one of the courses in Marysville but will contact as many as I could. Obviously it's a little early, but man...I miss golf! I bought all new clubs last year and can't wait to get them back out on the courses.

So, if you're interested, shoot me your e-mail and such in a PM and I'll start a little database and keep you updated on what I'm able to find out. Might be interesting. I may be able to talk a few of the vendors I work with to sponser a few holes to help the cost. We will see what I'm able to do...

And if someone has already done this and plans on doing this again, I did not mean to step on your toes, and I can forward you all the information I might get to allow you to continue the tradition.

Pebble Beach

I am an avid golfer. There was a time when I was able to break 80. That is not the case now. But I walked Pebble Beach during a professional tournament. I am wondering: If an average golfer played somewhere like Pebble Beach, what would the score be? How many could really break 120?

By the way, I played with a man that I coached with and he putted better than most with a beer in his hand for all putts. :tongue2:

I have played at Pebble. In actuality it is not a terribly difficult course. It is not long at all by todays standards, the greens are pretty small, and the weather can be an issue. To me the biggest issue with playing at Pebble as a first time guest is just the distraction of being there. You are trying to play golf, but at the same time you are taking in all the scenery, the history, taking pictures, video, whatever else and it is hard to concentrate on just playing golf. It helps to have a caddy or at least a forecaddy to assist with course management. I pretty much played right to my handicap there. Spyglass on the other hand kicked my ass.
