I am talkin about Derrick Williams from elanor roseavelt in maryland. I am sure you all know him. He is the #1 rated prospect in the country and penn state signed him. He is faster then Ted was coming out of high school I have seen him play in person this kid is the real deal (so is ted ginn of course and I live in MD)
Man I will surely be watching when you guys play penn state. It should be a hoot.



BTW if you couldnt tell by my screen name I am a maryland fan.
 
I think putting any sort of label on a true freshman like he is the next Ted Ginn or Reggie Bush is a hell of a leap.

Now, if he actually shows something this year then we can start talking.

So, how is maryland looking this year? Another 5-6 season? :wink:

I doubt it, Sparky. Track speed and football speed are two different things (just ask the Michigan State DB with 4.3 40 speed who got destroyed by Ginn on a game-winning 43 yard slant TD). When Williams leads the country in punt return average and scores four TDs on just 15 punts, then you can compare Williams to Ginn

We lost so many players that 2003 season. I think we has 3 returning starters on defense and 5 on offense. We had a very young team but we have put together three strait top 25 (last two top 20) recruiting classes. You should to see it pay dividends this year. Besides Maryland would wipe the floor with OSU

sure sure sure... see if top 25 recruiting classes meant ANYTHING then texas would of won 145 NCs... any guess how many they really have?

For what it is worth, our practice team would have a good shot vs. Maryland :)

Dude, if you start a conversation about football, don't try to win it by switching to basketball. It makes you look like a weasle. I don't agree with what you have to say about the theoretical results of a OSU-Maryland football game, but at least stay on topic. If you want to talk about a theoretical basketball game, start off talking about basketball.

how did I flame? people started flameing maryland first all I did was defend them.


edit: I see I said MD would wipe the floor with OSU but the was in reponse to the person who said would we be looking foward to another 5-6 seaon but I was just kidding as you can tell
