The Ohio State vs. #1 Dook, B1G/ACC Challenge, Nov. 30th, 9:30 ET, ESPN

Bucks 3 of 10 from the FT line. No one makes them all, but let's say 70% and 2 of those being front ends gets you 2 more. It'd be a single digit game.

But you toss in 9 turnovers and you're down 13 at halftime.

I'm not expecting a second half miracle. Really just hoping it doesn't turn into a 20+ point blowout.

Question: Are our bigs coached to always look to score once they get it in the paint? I don’t ever see a kick out to a wide open guard on the perimeter. I mean, never. Hard to make 3’s when the guards never get open looks. Ahrens, for instance isn’t ever going to create his own shot. Jon Diebler couldn’t either. However, we set screens for him, sometimes double even, to get him open. Or we would kick the ball back out from the paint. Our bigs the last couple years never look to pass back out. I also notice that when someone has a hot hand, he may never get the ball again for five minutes. Not just Ahrens, but anybody on this team. Sometimes I feel like there is a lot of selfishness on the basketball team the last few years.

Turnovers and poor FT shooting are why the Bucks are down.

If they're not doubling guys in the paint, which they're not, there's no kick out. We've actually done okay once we get it to the paint, unless we're fouled.

trying to stay positive.

I know it's Duke, but they are tenative, fumbling balls off their shins, 30% from the foul line.....and they still have no true PG that can handle the ball or guards that can handle any type of pressure. All their perimeter passes are coming from bad angles leading to steals and run outs. They just aren't playing with a lot of basketball IQ.
