yeah but... its just a character on a pc... can't they just make him alive again? it shouldn't be too hard. go into the db, run a quick query, change the 0 to a 1, hit commit... am i missing something here?

Yes. In those sorts of "games" part of the "life" created is the danger of dying with no resurrection. It is part of the psychology of it that gets people so attached to their virtual self.

yeah, im familiar with "hardcore" gaming. but i still have 2 responses. A. you didn't get your char killed. have the dev's make your char alive again. im not seeing the issue with doing this. hell your looking to put some chick in prison for 5 years. personally, id think having my char brought back from the dead would be a tad more reasonable. attachment to a char or no, 1 involves some dev doing an hour or 2 of scripting work. the other involves 5 years worth of prison sex. B. you gave someone not you the password to your hardcore char? seriously? oh but wait... theres more!! you married said person then divorced them without so much as a "hey, go fuck yourself" then didn't change your password to your hardcore char? sounds like a good plan to me.

sorry, still feeling no pity for this dipshit.
