This Week on the PGA Tour

Welcome to the Greenbrier Classic in Sulphur Springs WVA. A rain delayed Friday, boy could Indy use some of that, sees Tiger struggling to make the cut and Phil already slamming his trunk. Furyk and Stricker also look to be heading home for the weekend. Look for poor weekend ratings if Tiger fails to come in under the line....

This week the guys that are playing are at the John Deere Classic. The JDC is headlined by 3 time champion and former Illini golfer Steve Stricker who is vying on Sunday for his 4th JDC win. Also on the board is neighboring Iowan Zach Johnson.

Most of the major names are prepping for the Open this week and are most likely already across the pond. Phil is doing his usual prep by playing at the Scottish Open and as of this morning is playing quite well and is currently two shots back.

Love the British Open. Might be my favorite of all the majors.

Really looking forward to the coverage this week on golf channel. They always do a fantastic job (IMO) covering the majors.

Hopefully Win McMurry gets a ton of air time!

Holy shit, you cannot make up the cluster fuck that is the sudden death playoff at the JDC. Matteson and Johnson both hit crappy drives then both proceeded to dunk their second shots into the green side pond.

I don't want it, you take it......

JFC, both guys botch the shit out of the hole and double bogey it. That is something you just don't see to often....on to the second playoff hole.

At the Scottish Open, Phil had a tough day putting and ended up plus two for the day. The other Singh, Jeev, beat Francisco Molinari of the Molinari brothers in a playoff.

Furyk's Even par today helped him hang onto a 1 stroke lead over Oosthuizen (say that one fast 3 times). Bradley is 4 back. Not much happening for Tigre and Phil. Could be a rough weather day tomorrow that might have some influence on the outcome.

With a major next week, I wouldn't be surprisred if they called it early.

Wow, Jim drops his second tournament this season right at the end. Definitely not something I would expect from a veteran like him. Congrats to Keegan hanging in and getting the win. This was a great victory for him to validate the PGA win last year.

PGA Championship week at Kiawah Island. My daughter goes to school down there and has the opportunity to get two tickets to Sunday for $100 :yow1: Sure and I was there last week moving her in.

No clue who to pick as there are a lot of guys with a good shot at it. This is also the final shot for the U.S. guys to automatically make the Ryder Cup. Phil is on the line at 8 and I am not sure he can maintain it with is erratic play.
