Thread numbering

Noticed that a couple threads created within the last day were numbered 598699 and 598709, respectively, instead of the expected 37750 or so. The forum main page says we have about 30,450 threads (and with thread merges and deletions this sounds about right, when the latest threads are numbered in the 37,700 range). Just wondering if there has been a change in the thread numbering scheme...would like to know what the dealio is so that my databases link up to the correct threads.

Odd, that. I'll rebuild the counters and bitfields tonight and see if that fix it. I'm certain it will have something to do with recovering the Troy Smith thread.
