Tell that to some chick at the bar a few years back. She just up and fondled my luxurious face mane without permission. Had I done the same to her...equivalents,, I'd still be on probation.

The most fascinating part of those post is the implication that that you drink with bearded women.

Not at all surprising of course....but definitely interesting.

No idea. I was yelling "FACE RAPE" so loudly while reaching for the pepper spray attached to my belt, it's hard to say.

I must admit I was face raped by a very old man about two years ago at work by a consultant. Real little guy reached up and just petted my beard. Seems to have colored my view of the world since. . . . .

True story 100%.

You guys were clearly asking for it. Just strutting around in the open with your beard out there for the world to see, but not allowed to touch. :shake:

That's why I always keep mine covered by a veil.

Besides, it wasn't legitimate face rape.

While playing with my daughter (18 months old) after dinner, she walks over to our movie collection, points at "The Man With No Name" trilogy box (Eastwood on the side) and says "Daddy!"

My beard is MUCH fuller than Eastwood's on the box but damn I'm so proud right now

 :highfive:

My 2 year old can point to and name various body parts, ie head, shoulders, elbow, nose, etc...about three months ago she added beard as she points to her chin. She also uses her comb to brush her imaginary beard.

Bubble Beard (the pirate? not sure) has been a favorite bathtime character played by my daughter.

On TV now.

"Whisker Wars" on the IFC channel 559 on DirecTV.

TV show about an international beard competition in Germany.

The narrator is annoying though, same guy from Ax Men and Ice Road Truckers.

Re-airs at 1 AM.

Set your DVR's!

Dry skin

Now that I am done teaching, my no shave summer has started. Unfortunately my chin is itchy, flaky, and a little sore, so I need some beard maintenance assistance. Anyone want to share their winning combination for skin/beard care?

I used a generic head & shoulders for the flakes. I don't know what you mean by a little bit sore, but the itchiness is just something that you'll either deal with, or end up shaving off the beard.
