Anyone else excited for the release of TW 06 on Thursday?

I absolutely love this game, and the new features sound liek it will only be more enjoyable this year. Rival mode sounds kick ass!

the rival mode sounds really good, im going to have to get my desktop working so i can play it on the pc. guess i'll have to put some time in this week on the personal computer.

landscapers have ugly yards
mechanics drive crappy cars
computer guys never have a 100% working computer, thank goodness for laptops :)

I have 04 and love it . Still play it.

BTW, have you seen the commercials for this game? The guy standing over the putt with his knees shaking uncontrollably?

I'm still playing 04 and see no reason to drop $50 on a new one. Of course I just got 04 a few months ago and am still trying to max out my profile.

Totally agree with not dropping the $50.

It takes a long time to max out but once you do, the game gets pretty easy. I think my best 18 hole round is a 45.

05 is fucking awesome I can't wait for 06 this week. Me and my friends spens a lot of time in the winters playing what we call drinking Tiger.

Win the hole 0 drinks
Tie the hole 1/4 beer
lose the hole 1/2 beer
No tiger vision or mulligans
you can have a three way tie and still a loser on the hole so you end up getting pretty rocked.

You have this ALL COMPLETELY WRONG!!!!!!!!

You need to reverse this completely.

Win a hole drink 1/2.. tie a hole drink 1/4...etc..

It's a privilege to get to drink the golden nectar of the gods.

Your goal SHOULD be to drink...not to NOT drink. That way the loser gets nothing and his beer gets warm.

Trust me - never will you play more competitively than this way.

btw - i need help getting this philosophical change out to the rest of the world.

I arrived at the blockbuster rental rack at the same time as the employee... who had the new TW06 games in hand ready to stock the shelves.

Pretty fun game. I didn't play last year's game, did the gamebreaker exist? I'm sure I can turn it off, but it seems like its a little too easy to hit eagles, both with the gamebreaker and without it.

They completely changed the putting, for the better.
Plus now you can shape shots using the right analog stick.
More courses, players, etc.
Overall I like it better, becuase I hated the old putting method...
