Ohio State is making its presence felt in the state of Tennessee. For the second consecutive year, the Buckeyes have landed one of the top prospects out of the Volunteer state with Monday’s commitment from four-star linebacker Kane Patterson out of Nashville (Tenn.) Christ Presbyterian Academy.
Patterson had zeroed in on Ohio State, Alabama and Tennessee before ultimately deciding on the Buckeyes. He informed Urban Meyer on July 3 and made his decision public on Monday over twitter. Patterson talked with 247Sports about the decision and made it clear that he’s thought this one all the way through.
“It’s Ohio State,” Patterson said. “For me, there are seven different points (that went into the decision).” .....
Done deal! Any concerns about his size since he is projected as a Middle Linebacker?Would love to have Patterson in this class, one of my favorite targets at the LB position and would like to land one true LB in this class (I think Stover ends up at DE...I like Chambers at LB but might get his first shot at RB).
