A taste of what's to come.

As long as you have WMP11 installed, you should be able to play the file no problem (assuming your PC has the processing power).

I'm currently encoding the Purdue game into a much more manageable 4.4 gig file, and have the MSU game queued up after that. Each encode takes a little over 24 hours, and hopefully won't screw up or give me any sync problems (or else I'll have to fix and redo the whole thing). I haven't tested doing it yet, but these should play fine on the Xbox 360 for those of you that own one.

I'm expecting the rest of the games this season to be broadcast in HD, so look forward to those posts... as slow as I may be in getting them released.

There is a redirect that BP is adding automatically into the link for some reason. Try the link above...

EDIT: Just installed WMP 11 on my work PC. Looks awesome man! FYI in Windows VLC has a tough time with it, while WMP11 plays is smooth as butter.

Yea, sometimes the redirect would appear, sometimes it would be a direct link. Can't figure out what its doing. Just clicking won't hurt anything. Most people should get the save box prompt, instead of streaming (which is what I was trying to avoid).

torrent mac users?

Any BitTorrent mac users out there? I'm on OS X 10.3.9
I've downloaded the OSX version of BitTorrent. Not installed yet due to the 10.2 Jaguar requirement. Does it work with newer OS? The FAQ page had no mention of backwards compatibility.

Or, better yet I'll happily pay for a copy of the last couple of games on DVD If anybody has the time and ability.

thanks

I am in fact a Mac user. First thing... do yourself a huge favor and UPGRADE OS X! 10.5 is coming out Friday! At the very least upgrade to 10.4. Second, Azureus also is available for Mac and works exactly like it does on PC. I like Transmission better, but a lot of sites such as Demonoid don't like it because it doesn't report your upload/download statistics properly to the site. You should have no problems downloading torrents on Mac. I can do everything on my Macbook that I was able to do on my PC.

The links for the programs are on the wiki under "Quick Start."

Thankyouverymuch! I've had 10.4 for a while, just haven't backed all my crap up yet. Then I'll assume any OS newer than 10.2 is ok. :osu:

Hey Rocketman,

Thanks for everything. I'm an audio guy, but very close on the VLC playback of the MSU OSU game.

I've downloaded BitTorrent, Downloaded the Game I wanted, opened the Video_TS file in the VLC app, and everything looks like it's working... except no picture.

I happen to have another Video_TS file on my drive that plays perfectly in VLC (stripped from DVD)

Any ideas on why I don't see Picture? Popcorn says it's encrypted. I wouldn't bother you with this without trying many remedies first. Thanks to anyone for help:confused:

I tried playing it on both Media player and VLC , it runs with no prob at
all. I highlighted it in Azureus , clicked opened file and then ran the game from there

Did you use Azureus to de-encrypt?,, I didn't. I simply used BitTorrent to download then attempted to open in VLC.

Ooh baby! Go Va Tech!

No , Mine doesn't say anything about encryption. Did you try to play it? you have to be missing something like a codec if you can't get it to play. it is not encrypted.

Yep, wrestled with it all day. Tried to open in a few different DVD type applications. downloaded a few different ways. The Video_TS files look perfect. I have others on my drive that play just fine... I'm just missing one damn little thing.. I'll get it eventually. Thanks!!
