Miami (OH) game has been torrented. Used DIVX codec this time (NOT xvid). File size is smaller cause I used a different ripping program. Quality is almost as good as the hi-res xvid movies too! Hopefully all the commercials have been cut out.

I just uploaded another rip of the Miami opener. I ripped it from my DirecTV Tivo, so it's a straight digital rip with near-DVD quality and only 2.8GB.

You can download a small sample clip of Teddy G's TD.

R0CK3TM4NN: Can you link it in the first post? PM me if you want to discuss version control.

Timbuck2's link is up! Now you got a choice! His version is probably much better suited for those of you who want to keep archives of the games on DVD and watch them on your TV.

Regardless of which version you download, please seed so others aren't stuck with week long download times.

Stuck in NC

Excellent job guys. Thanks for getting this started and following through with it. I'm stuck in Charlotte, NC, and can barely follow the Buckeyes games (Especially when they cut out to OU getting their ass handed to them...).

But with this I can ideally catch each game. Well done and thanks!

[And I know this is a OSU forum, but does anyone know of any Columbus Crew torrents?]

i downloaded timbuck2s game, and i dont have a dvd burner, so i was gonna split the movie into 4 parts using virtualdub....but when i opened the file in vutual dub it gave me this message....

VBR audio stream detected: VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the header with standard CBR values during processing for compatibility. This may introduce up to #### ms of skew from the video stream. If this is unacceptable decompress the *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bit-rate encoder. (bit rate: ###.# +/- ##.# kbps)

i tried to split it, and when i got the file into four pieces, the sound was not in sync(it was already off by a half second when i downloaded it but now it is really out of sync) and near the end of each of the 4 avi's it goes silent...just video no sound....i looked on the web but i didnt have any sucess...any suggestions, and maybe this is happening to you???

any help, i have to burn this before sunday, so i can have room for the texas game. thanks.

I talked it over with R0CK3TM4NN. From now on, he's going to post smaller files for people who just want to watch the games, and I'm going to post larger files for people who want the games for a collection.

I'm changing the format from DivX to DVD templates. This will eliminate the audio sync problem you're seeing, er hearing... This may also help side-step the problem you're seeing below.

I might also suggest you pick up a larger hard drive. I just bought a 160GB Seagate drive at Walmart for $90. There are some deals online, but that's a pretty good price and it will hold almost 3 seasons of football

Hope this helps!
