Ahh...the wonders of reading the first post :wink2:. You probably haven't gotten a bittorrent client yet. The 25 kb file is the torrent file that allows you to download the games. Check the links on the bible that is the first post.

Actually, upon reading the so-called biblical first post, the whole bittorrent thing is kind of hiding in there isn't it. I'll fix that.

Would you mind giving me a little bit of information on how you rip the games off your Tivo and onto your computer? I just recently got Tivo and would like to start contributing clips to the site.

A couple of thoughts. If you're just looking to make video clips, you can use the VOB files in the DVDs I upload. They are basically the same as MPEG and can be converted without losing any quality.

If you're still thinking about hacking a TiVo, consider this: I'm a tech guy professionally and this took me forever to do, and it'll cost you around $200 and countless hours to do it right. Once you're done, it's pretty awesome though. All my rips are perfect quality and I can record over a week's worth of television straight.

There are waaaaay to many details to put here, but if you're looking for a great start go here first. My best advice would be to this - don't try to take any shortcuts and don't try to blow through this without actually learning/understanding anything. If you do, you'll find it next to impossible to solve problems as they come up - and trust me, they will come up.

If you have any specific questions, PM me and I'll try to help as best I can. :)

I have two questions if anybody out there is willing to help me. When I am watching our game this sat on espnhd will I be able to use my dvd recorder to have that game in HD? I was told by a salesman that I can't record anything in HD without using tivo. 2nd. I have a dvd burner on my pc here but I use nero and it seems like it quits during a lot of my burns. I bought a spindle of 25 dvd + r and they fuck up more often than suceed. My system is pretty good and shut all other processes down. Its kinda frustrating so if anybody has any possible solutions for these two problems, it will be appreciated.
